80s Acting Legend Tells Life Story In Middlesex County Play

Actor Steve Guttenberg is starring in "Tales From The Guttenberg Bible", an adaptation of his memoir at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, starting on Tuesday, April 25 and running through May 21.

Guttenberg is known for starring in 80s classics like "Diner," the "Police Academy" movies, "Short Circuit," Cocoon" and "Three Men and a Baby."

The show features three actoss playing 90 other characters with Guttenberg playing himself and focuses on the actor's childhood growing up on Long Island through his journey to Hollywood, including his interactions with people like Tom Selleck, Kevin Bacon and Paul Reiser.

Guttenberg has been making the rounds in New Jersey, having recently thrown out the first pitch at a Somerset Patriots game.
